Technique 2, Rear choke control/escape and variations
attacker enters to choke bring hands up to pull forearm down
1. attacker enters to choke 2. bring hands up to pull forearm down (this must be done before choke is set)
hips out, rotate into shoulder while holding tricep opposite arm moves to underhook
3. hips out, rotate into shoulder while holding tricep 4. opposite arm moves to underhook
keep balance, head outside, pull upper body down with underhook controlling arm, deliver knee
5. keep balance, head outside, pull upper body down 6. with underhook controlling arm, deliver knee
shoulder shot to attacker's jaw raises head deliver short hook
7. shoulder shot to attacker's jaw raises head 8. deliver short hook to jaw for possible knockout and escape

The following sequences show you another way to work this attack. This time Heather is attacked and she makes the same moves as in 1-5 and that is where we pick up the action.

She chose a different path in execution simply because her leg length didn't allow for a good knee to the sternum/solar plexus.

shoulder shot to attacker's jaw raises head deliver short hook
5. keep balance, head outside, pull upper body down 6. step in and rotate counter-clockwise, retaining control of arm
shoulder shot to attacker's jaw raises head deliver short hook
7. hook arm high at the shoulder while dropping to inside knee for throw 8. fully commit to throw - good abdominal contraction here
shoulder shot to attacker's jaw raises head deliver short hook
9. remember to snap head back opposite of attackers movement to help prevent being trapped/held 10. retain arm for locks/controls or quick punch and escape

The following sequence shows Heather skipping step 6, altogether, and going an another path all her own.
shoulder shot to attacker's jaw raises head deliver short hook
7. shoulder shot to attacker's jaw raises head 8. deliver short hook to jaw
deliver short hook
9. finish with a kick to the groin or knee stomp and escape
